Binding is tight and secure. Former owner's name written discreetly at the top right corner of the FFEP. Pages are clean, crisp, and bright, still glossy. Images are printed in both B&W and full color. Two copies of the pamphlet for the related exhibition are tucked into the front of the book. A very nice copy. Signed by both Florence Louie Friedman and J M Sikakana on the certification page. A wonderful collection of the verse of the great Benedict Vilakazi (after whom the famous Soweto street is named). The boards are a little bent by storage. The back board has a consequent length-long crease. The front board has storage marks and scoring. Despite these distractions the boards and spine are steady, sure, efficient. Within, the contents are placid. There are shallow pools, smears, smudges of foxing throughout.
