paperback. Zustand: Very Good. Oversized softcover. Dark blue wraps with colorful pictorial front cover, white lettering along spine. Wear has caused uneven fading along hinges, some scuffing to back cover due to shelf wear, corners gently bumped. Front cover fully clean. All remains structurally intact, no lettering marred. Binding is tight and secure. Former owner's name written discreetly at the top right corner of the FFEP. Pages are clean, crisp, and bright, still glossy. Images are printed in both B&W and full color. Two copies of the pamphlet for the related exhibition are tucked into the front of the book. A very nice copy. This is an oversized book, so extra shipping will be necessary for priority or international shipping. We ship everyday from a real neighborhood bookstore. This description is written by an actual person, who is holding the book in front of them to make sure it?s properly described. Hardcover. Zustand: Good. No Jacket. Limited. 144 pages (complete). Hand-numbered 17 of a limited edition of 100 copies. Signed by both Florence Louie Friedman and J M Sikakana on the certification page. A wonderful collection of the verse of the great Benedict Vilakazi (after whom the famous Soweto street is named). The boards are a little bent by storage. The back board has a consequent length-long crease. The front board has storage marks and scoring. Despite these distractions the boards and spine are steady, sure, efficient. Within, the contents are placid. There are shallow pools, smears, smudges of foxing throughout. Nonetheless, the pages are clean, clear, energetic, vivant, certain, bold, convivial, companionable, generous of spirit and verite. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services. Signed.
