Schrag studied at art school Atelier 17, where his fellow students included Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, and Jackson Pollock.With the 1971 'Catalogue Raisonne of the Graphic Works, 1939-1970', in bright cloth covered boards with very scarcepublisher's original slip case, and the much slighter volume II, a Catalogue Raisonne of his works from 1971-1980. Both are illustrated throughout with plates of Schrag's works. Volume I features five colour plates.Loosely inserted is a small pamphlet for an exhibition of Schrag's 'recent prints and monotypes', held March 8 - April 5, 1980 in New York. With volume I in publisher's original cloth covered boards with cloth covered slip case, and volume II in the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, bright and clean.
