Hardcover. Zustand: Fair. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. The dustjacket is not the original. It has been made at a later date by photocopy (?) and is covered with clear plastic. The torquoise cloth cover is much worn, marked and stained. The front cover has scratches and stains. All edges and all corners are worn from usage and shelving. The spine is faded and worn. There are shelf pull indentations at the head and foot. There is scratching and wear especially at the foot. The inside front cover has some colour discolouration. The binding seam has split to the thread. The covers, however, are secure. There is a gift inscription on the frontispage (not from the author) dated Dec 1939. The title page has been removed. The paper edge trims and pages themselves are marked and spotted by age and storage and use. A publisher message has been hole-stamped on the final page. Pages are complete and clear. fk.
