Three quarter leather over marbled boards, gilt spine lettering and decoration, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers, tissue protected frontis plate in each volume, books about eight inches tall. Leather started out as dark green but age has faded the spines and cover perimeters to a warm brown. Some rubbing to extremities, a bit of roughness to spine heads, good hinges, firm text blocks, very clean pages with a name neatly written at the top of the preliminary blank of the first volume, no other markings.
