He then served as Keeper of Rare Books at the Dibner Library of the History of Science and Technology, a branch of the Smithsonian Institution Libraries, before becoming a Historian Emeritus. In the publisher's original black cloth binding. Externally, generally sound. Lightly rubbed to the boards with a little wear to the extremities. There is some loss of cloth to the head and the tail of the spine, and wear to both the rear and front joints has led to rips in the cloth. Internally, firmly bound.
