Marryat (the dedicatee of this book) , Henry Sinclair Hall (to whom this copy is inscribed) , E. J. Power, Dr. T. Sanctuary; and various professionals including Holland, Hammond, Currell and Chakley took the floating fly, improved on it and produced the dry fly that we use today.
