Softcover. Zustand: Good. First edition. Folio. Two nested bifolia making eight pages. Notched and worn along the folds with numbers penned on each page from once being bound within an album, outer bifoium separating along the bottom of the fold, offsetting to the back cover, and some soiling to the exterior, still a complete an…d good or better copy. For voice and piano. Plate imprint, "6240 - 5 - T." Dedicated to the singer and actress Jessie Bartlett Davis. The lyrics to this piece are actually taken from Field's poem, "A Lullaby"; though Field did write a poem titled "A Hushaby Song" (and those familiar with that poem might understand why it's not quite appropriate for singing). This piece is unrecorded by *OCLC* and appears to be equally scarce in the trade.
