Published in London in 1902 this is a generally very good example of this Sporting Novel of Horse Riding, Fox Hunting and other wild animal hunts with much of the action taking place in New Zealand, the book is dedicated to Richard Seddon, the then prime minister of New Zealand the bo…ok is bound in the original publishers red leather spine with blue cloth boards titled and decorated in gilt, top edge gilded, all other page edges remain untrimmed internally illustrated with a colour tipped in frontispiece and seven black and white tissue guarded plates, printed on nice quality handmade paper, a larger format measuring 10.5 inches by 8 inches approx., the leather has a few rubbed pots along spine edge and spine ends, minor bubbling of cloth, small scratch to rear board, internally some foxing to outer page edges, a few minor foxing marks within else contents are in nice general condition. Book is a larger heavier format, overseas shipping costs will be higher than the basic standard quote. Harrington Bird (illustrator).
