The first edition of this very scarce work.The collected letters of Augustus Simon Frazer, containing a total of 181 letters, penned between 1812 to 1815.Frazer commanded the artillery at the British invasions of the Rio de la Plata in 1807, and as part of Wellington's staff during both the Peninsular War and the Waterloo Campaign.Illustrated with a frontispiece, one folding map, and two maps.Collated, complete.Edited by Major-General Edward Sabine, who also served in the Peninsular War.
