Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover with dust jacket. Inscribed and signed by Frank Buck on the frontispiece portrait where he presented the book to a friend. The original price of $2.75 still present on the front flap. DJ is quite toned and soiled with a small hole torn at the spine. The underside of the jacket was neatly reinforced the top and bottom with masking tape. This tape has become dry and brittle over the decades and will probably detached if paper is bent, though it will leave dried glue residue on the backside of the jacket. Dark orange cloth boards are clean with only minor edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding is good, no hinge issues. Pictorial end pages and front and rear are clear of any handwriting or bookplates, no library markings. The half title page shows some thinning to the paper in the upper right corner where it appears an old price was penciled and then later erased. Pages are toned due to age and there is some minor scattered foxing and spotting present. Stated first edition on the copyright page. Signed by Author(s).
