Eve had thick red hair that fell down over her shoulders like a molten copper cascade, and Eve had a sullen soft-looking mouth that held more than a casual promise for Johnny Liddell." Light edge wear with some rub spots to the covers and spine hinges. Light to moderate browning to the pages. Good color to the front cover. A good or slightly better copy.

A 1st print (number line to 1) of the 1st hardback edition (stated) of the 8th Travis McGee novel. Red boards eighth bound in black cloth with lightly faded gold lettering. $8.95 price at the bottom right of the front flap. No BCE blind stamp on the rear board. Light edge wear to the DJ. The internals are clean and tight. There is a squiggle of glue residue on the paste downs which is mirrored on the inside of the DJ flaps, however there are no scrapes or abrasions. There are a few small spots on the FEPs. A very good copy.
