Note from verso of title page, "The negatives were taken by Mr. Frank Haes (a member of the Executive Committee) on the Eastman negative paper in McKellan's roller slide; the prints have been printed in Collotype by the Autotype Company, and are the first form of such negatives which have been published in England.".

To determine the extent of the materials which exist for the compilation of a History of the Jews in England. (From the Preface).
