Andr Franois (1915 Ð 2005) was born in Hungary but moved to Paris in the 1930s. He is best remembered for his cartoons, publishing them in the New Yorker and Punch.He was a close friend and collaborator of Ronald Searle (1920 Ð 2011) British artist, illustrator and satirical cartoonist.
