Solida legatura del tempo in mezza pelle con punte, dorsi lisci con titoli e fregi in oro. Preservate all'interno le belle brossure originali illustrate in litografia. Esemplare con una parte delle tavole inte…ressate da bruniture, peraltro genuino ed in buono stato di conservazione. Si tratta della tiratura con le tavole in bianco e nero e prive della coloritura che caratterizza la maggior parte degli esemplari di quest'opera. Una dicitura alla brossura recita: "Costa 100 lire, anche se si volessero le incisioni non colorite e tirate su carta di mezza tinta". Ciò giustifica il fatto che la tiratura con le tavole non colorate è effettivamente molto più rara a trovarsi. Si tratta decisamente della più celebre raccolta iconografica dei profili dei più tipici personaggi napoletani. Cfr. Colas (I 411) e Lipperheide (1304) che non citano la presente tiratura. Book.
