Condition: Very good, essentially fine except that the lower corner of the front endpaper bears the discreet blindstamp of the art dealer Offer Waterman with a reference number neatly written in the centre. 102pp. 30 colour plates. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of the work of the American artist Steve Wolfe (1955-2016), held at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York from September 30 to November 29, 2009. The exhibition then toured to the Menil Collection in Houston in 2010. Wolfe was known for his exquisitely painted trompe l'oeil images of books, many of which were produced using his own personal copies.
