Hard back binding in publisher's original emerald green cloth covers, gilt title, author lettering and black scroll design to the spine and to the upper panel, original lemon end papers. 8vo. 7½'' x 5¼''. Contains [viii] 186 [vi illustrated works] printed pages of text with full and part-page monochrome illustrations throughout. Whilst the boards are secure to the text the end papers are cracked, hand written prize label to the front paste down dated 1882, one page section to the centre of the book slightly proud, a little brown ghosting to the end papers, only light rubbing to the tips and corners, spine not faded, without any ownership markings and in Very Good condition.
