In den WarenkorbHardback. Zustand: Good. Deighton Bell and MacmIllian and Bowes for the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, 1896, revised and illustrated edition, being one of 260 numbered copies on ordinary paper there being a further 42 numbered copies printed on Japanese paper; 4to, 235 x 290mm; pp xvi, 132; with 16 gravure plates and 15 illustrations in the text, each plate with several objects illustrated; dark blue buckram gilt on the spine and with the seal of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society gilt on the front board; the plates have been printed on some form of wood based paper and hence are browned to varying degrees but the text pages, on different stock, are unaffected other than by some occasional light foxing; the frontispece is loose and without the tissue guard present on the other plates and there's a little light rubbing of the ends of the spine and of the corners of the but the book is otherwise in good, tight condition. This is number 36 of 260 copies on ordinary paper and with the armorial bookplate of Wm A[lexander] Macfarlane Grieve pasted on the verso of the title page, the owner presumably being the antiquarian (FSAS) and father of the mathematician and Master of University College, Durham, from 1939 to 1954. NOTE that as the book weighs over 1,400g there will be a supplement due on postage costs overseas, the exact amount depending on the destination and service used.
