In den WarenkorbSoftcover. Zustand: Very Good. Oblong quarto measuring 12" x 10". Stapled paper wrappers with "Reminiscences" hand written on the front wrapper. Contains 11 black and white gelatin silver photographs measuring around 3½" x 5½" with captions. Very good with tiny chips, small tears, and a tape repair on the rear wrapper with near…fine photographs. A photo album compiled by Rose A. Flynn of Virginia titled "Junior Class Reminiscences of Pine Grove High School 1927." Most of the pages feature a photograph and a long captioned description of the photo on the verso of the previous page. The album begins with a photo of a young woman, Miss Frances E. Eckenrode, who the album is dedicated to. Flynn then includes a photo of the school building and a list of faculty and staff. The rest of the album is a collection of group photos from various classes and activities including Senior Class History and the school play. The caption of one of these reads, "then came along out Junior year which I think has been the best and happiest of all. We have given many chapel programs, many delightful parties and wiener roasts. Then came our Junior play *A Family Affair* which we all liked very much and had a lovely time getting ready for. We think it was quite an event in our history." The final pages include sports teams featuring the girls' basketball teams and the boys' track and field team. A modest but interesting album providing a glimpse of a young woman's education in the 1920s.
