There is no one more perfect to encapsulate the life and memory of the deeply loved novelist, memoirist, and widely syndicated columnist, Celestine Sibley, than her granddaughter, Celestine Sibley Fleming. Celestine Sibley wrote extensively about her granddaughter over the years -- and vice-versa -- and they shared a very close bond. Featuring Fleming's memories about her grandmother in terms of her life both as a public figure and family matriarch together with tales from her grandmother's garden and kitchen and a collection of family photographs, Celestine Sibley is a much-needed final word on her life. In the words of Sibley Fleming: "The book is about the inheritance left to me by my grandmother, not about diamond tiaras or strings of pearls, but instead a look at the richness of life, the miracle of relationships, and the wisdom that comes from greeting every day with and open mind and sense of humor like only my grandmother could. 'Tine taught me how to see life". At last, Celestine Sibley fans everywhere are offered a rare and affectionate look into the soul of Celestine Sibley. ; Celestine Sibley Fleming is a columnist, writer, and editor, whose work appears regularly in national magazines and regional newspapers.
