A pesquisa foi desenvolvida para obtenção título de graduação em Serviço Social, realizada no ano de 2016 sob orientação da Professora, Doutora em Serviço Social, Solange Fernandes. Propôs-se a reflexão sobre a tese da invisibilidade social no trabalho vivenciada por algumas categorias de trabalhadoras (es), o recorte da pesquisa definiu as (os) trabalhadoras (es) da higienização de uma empresa terceirizada que prestava serviços a uma universidade privada do estado do Paraná, sediada na cidade de Curitiba. Destaca-se como contribuição a análise sobre o processo de exploração da força de trabalho, e os fatores que geram a invisibilidade social no trabalho dos trabalhadores e das trabalhadoras da higienização. Os principais resultados da pesquisa sinalizam que algumas categorias de trabalho são socialmente discriminadas, tornando-se reféns da naturalização da exploração da força de trabalho.
