This title not in Alston who records Alitieri's A New Grammar, published in 1728; ESTC T89755, FIRST EDITION. Volume II is entitled Dizionario Ingelese ed Italiano and dated 1727. The Monyns (now spelled Monins) are a long established Kentish family. Sir Symond de Monyn accompanied William the Conqueror in 1066 and the family soon settled in Dover. The Monins and Eaton families merged when Thomas Monins married the sister of Sir Peter Eaton, the first owner of these volumes who died in 1730.
