Edited and introduced by György Pray (1723-1801), a renowned Jesuit historian. With the engraved Hungarian coat of arms on title page and three engraved plates and a map of Rézbánya in Transylvania (now: B?i?a). The majority of the text is inLatin, about the Museum and its finance, but there are also articles about the numismatic and other collections, even a study in German about the Transylvanian town Rézbánya. The last article is a commemoration about Pál Kitaibel (17571817) the recently passed Hungarian botanist and chemist who discovered tellurium and who was the co-author of the three-volume, comprehensive and beautifully illustrated work on the rare plants of Hungary, the "Descriptiones et icones plantarum rariorum Hungariae" (18021812). . Zu seinen Werken gehören die Statuen von Alexander von Humboldt, Shakespeare und Kolumbus in St. Louis (USA), das Denkmal für König Ludwig I. in der Walhalla sowie das Prinzregent-Luitpold-Denkmal in Berchtesgaden. Von 1900-18 war er Direktor der Münchner Kunstakademie.

Inscribed to the German dermatologist Alwin Scharlau. - Proving his talent as an assistant to his uncle at the royal brass foundry, Miller was able to study in Munich and Paris, took over the brass foundry from his uncle upon his return to Munich, and created the monumental "Bavaria" statue for King Ludwig I between 1843 and 1850. - Traces of a postmark; small ink spots and creases near left corners. Self-addressed by the collector on the reverse. The Mecklenburg physician Scharlau (b. 1888) assembled a collection of artists' autographs by personal application.
