Illustrated with thirteen colour images and borders to each page. Collated complete. A collection of thirteen charming rhyming recipes, including dishes such as: Morning Glory, The Tempter, Quelle Vie, Royal Fizz, and The Merry Widow, amongst others. Written anonymously under the pen name of A. N. Other. Illustrated by Ian Fenwick, an English artist and professional cartoonist with a natural talent for humorous drawings. During the 1930s his drawings appeared in many magazines including Punch. Fenwick was commissioned to Leicestershire Yeomanry in 1937 and, after being sent on secret government missions to Turkey and the Balkans in 1940, he soon joined 1 SAS. He parachuted into France at night as Major, Commander of "D" Squadron, 1st SAS, in "Operation Gain" and was killed in action after an ambush some weeks later.
