Fenestella, roman historian, died in 49 BC, was used as a pseudonym by Andrea Dominico Fiocchi (-1452), Florentine jurist and secretary of Pope Eugène IV, for this treatise. First published in Milan under the title: De Romanis potestatibus, sacerdotiis et magistratibus (1477). It was reprinted many times and was at first attributed to Fenestella.
