This increase in public awareness has often been misconstrued as an indication that natural hazards have been occurring more frequently with higher magnitudes in recent years/decades, thus causing more damage than in the past. It is still under debate, however, to which extent recent increases in damage can be related to changing frequencies of natural processes, or whether catastrophic events occur at similar rates as they always had. If the latter is the case, the reason for a greater damage can be related to dramatic population growth over the last century, with a substantial augmentation of population density in some regions. Indeed, the implications are more server in underdeveloped and developing countries, where urbanisation has increasingly occurred in hazard prone areas such as coastal zones, alluvial river plains and steep slopes, thus causing an increase in the exposure to natural hazards. Faint annotations on the front wrapper in manuscript pencil, "Captain Hates the Sea," "Leon Benson," and an illegible name. Copy presumably belonging to Benson. A television series about crime-fighting sailboat captain Scott (Sullivan) on the shores of New England. In this episode, Captain Owens (Tweddle) is willing to commit murder to oppose his daughter's (Bain) marriage to a lobster fisherman (Hagman). Steve Fisher went uncredited upon the episode's release, and his credits for other series the same year include "Wire Service," "The George Sanders Mystery Theater," "tombstone Territory," and Jane Wyman Presents the Fireside Theatre." Leon Benson's credits include "West Point" (1956-1957), "Sea Hunt" (1958-1961), "Ripcord" (1961-1963), and "Bonanaza" (1967-1970), as well as another ZIV production, "Harbor Command" (1957-1958), directing three episodes in 1957. Set and shot on location in Rockport, Massachusetts. Orange titled wrappers, noted as "Harbourmaster / 23-B" on the front wrapper, dated 1957, with credits for Fisher and Drake. A raison de deux parutions par mois, ce sont plus de cinq cents recueils inédits qui seront publiées dans cette collection qui fera de Pierre Seghers le plus important éditeur de poésie au XXème siècle.
