A would-be Broadway singer plans a benefit show to send orphaned children to summer camp, but secretly means to use the production to get ahead in his own career. The third film in MGM's "Backyard Musical" series, following "Babes in Arms" (1939) and Strike Up the Band" (1940), and preceding "Girl Crazy" (1943). Set in New York. 7.75 x 11 inches. Near Fine.
