A good copy of these Victorian children's lessons in adding and subtracting that tend towards the morbid. Scarce.

This offering consists of a boxed set of three tissue paper guarded card puzzles, each measuring 10-7/16" x 8-1/2" and showing early 20th century dolls and toys; each card tray has removable puzzle pieces which make up a wonderful full color scene on one side, and a story about the scene printed in black ink on the other side. The story titles are as follows: The Nursery at Dollycot Villa; The Drawing-Room at Dollycot Villa and The Kitchen at Dollycot Villa; save for a tiny bump to one corner of each card tray, all of the cards and puzzles are in AS NEW condition. Original publisher's color pictorial two-part cardboard box with light, gentle wear, splits to three sides which effect neither the upper nor lower panels and minor wear with slight loss to two corners of the box top due to all four corners having once been stapled closed (as issued). The condition of the card puzzles is NEAR FINE. The condition of the original publisher's box is VERY GOOD. EXCEEDINGLY RARE and absolutely wonderful.
