Early Draft script for the 1995 film, dated 2/21/94, nearly eight months before the beginning of the production. Manuscript post-it note in an unknown hand affixed to the front wrapper, apparently from a script reader, detailing themes and concepts gleaned from a first review of the script. In the late 19th century, a mild-mannered accountant goes on the run after killing a man, later befriending a Native American who believes he is the reincarnation of poet William Blake. Jim Jarmusch's sixth film, a dreamlike black-and-white Western, described by critic Jonathan Rosenbaum as an "acid Western." Nominated for the Palme d'Or.
