Notched and worn along the fold from once being bound within an album, edgewear, possibly trimmed along the top to fit into an album as the text is partially cutoff, a small tear to the bottom of the back cover not affecting the music, and toning, still very good. For voice and piano. A few composers have put these words to music but *OCLC* locates only three holdings of this composition by F. Lancelott and it appears to be equally scarce in the trade.…

Two items of printed music, the first with engr. front wrapper illus. by Alfred Ashley; sl. cut down at head with loss of some text. Pp17-20 and pp97-100. Two different works entitled The Chimes Quadrille, bound together with consecutive engraved numbers '6' and '7'. The second work (without publisher, but with plate number '81') is ascribed to F. Lancelott. The first work, published by Bingley & Strange, has no attribution, but appears to also be his composition: the music is the same another item which is ascribed to Lancelott.…
