The complete eight volume set of Catalogue of the Type Specimens of Microlepidoptera in the British Museum (Natural History) described by Edward Meyrick, compiled and edited by Canadian-American entomologist John Frederick Gates Clarke for the Trustees of the British Museum. Scarce as a complete set, published between 1955-1970. In the publisher's original blue cloth. An expert on Microlepidoptera, otherwise known as moths with a wingspan of under 20mm, Meyrick spent a lifetime studying and describing different species for which Clarke has compiled in this extensive eight volume catalogue.
