Binding of Light brown cloth spine over decorative paper covered boards in good condition with some shelf wear to top and tail of spine, rubbing to all edges and tips and some scratches and small marks with samll tear to top of spine. Inside gift inscription to FFE paper dated "Christmas 1883" spine cracked in a couple of places with back hinge also cracked leaving book cocked but with binding still tight. All pages and illustrations in excellent condition, clean and bright with no signs of aging. a nice copy of this beautifully illustrated book. M. Ellen Edwards & John C. Staples (illustrator).…

Binding of beige cloth spine over decorative paper covered boards in very good condition with some rubbing to tips of boards and a few creases to the paper covered boards. Inside gift inscription to front free end paper dated "December31st, 1883", spine cracked to pages16/17 but binding still sound. All pages and plates in very good condition with some marks and spots of aging throughout, otherwise nice and bright.
