Binding remains firm. Pages and illustrations have light tanning and foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with areas of loss, heavy tears, chips, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Foxing overall.

SUSAN B. PEARSE (illustrator). The covers are light rubbed with some crease marks, mild bumping to the edges, small black pen mark to bottom page edge. The binding is firm. The pages are clean, bright illustrations and crease free, with some tanning around edges. This book has unnumbered pages. All in all a nice example of this book.

Light cracking and creasing to gutters; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild chipping, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.
