Kaleidoscope in printed cardboard cylinder, further housed in a silver-paper covered protective cylinder box with metal ends. At the height of his popularity in the mid-1970s, Trova produced this "Trovascope," placing his signature "Falling Man" figure into trippy kaleidoscopic permutations in a manner readily accessible and affordable. THe fall of Trova from the pinnacle of art-world success to the ignominy of the realm of mall-outlets is an epic tragedy. Slight discoloration to metal ends of case, else fine.
