Hardback, bound in the original orange cloth with printed titling to spine and upper board. 19 × 12.5cm, 255pp. Signed directly to the title page by E Laurie-Long. There is also a dedication (To Doris and Cecil, July 4 1937) to the ffep in the author's handwriting. A nautical adventure in which mystery after mystery follow the passengers of the "Wulf", and stewardess Lizzie Collins who has returned to the ship. (she was a recurring character in some of Laurie-Long's novels). Ernest Laurie-Long was a prolific author, mostly of navy and nautical themed adventures. Condition: This copy is in very good condition for age. There is some fading to the spine and rubbing to the boards, light foxing to the prelims and page edges but otherwise the book is in good solid shape. Signed by Author(s).
