The inspiration to publish this book, according to Maywer, was that Pulitzer Prize-winning…poet Yusef Komunyakaa was working on an epic poem in which part took place at Classics. Independently, Maywer was himself working on some flash fiction that took place at the shop. included here are several pieces by Maywer with additional pieces by Komunyakaa, Doc Long, Irene Dube, Nancy Scott, Barry Gross and others.
