Kranzler (May 19, 1930 - November 29, 2007) was an American professor of library science at Queensborough Community College, New York, who specialized in the study of the rescue of Jews during the Holocaust. Pages 151-180 discuss the work of George Mantello, an El Salvadoran diplomat and an Orthodox Jew, who provided Jews with Salvadoran protective papers.
