Original spiral-bound block glued to back board of red half cloth over illustrated boards with black and white lettering on cover, as issued. Title page printed in red and black. The Democratic principles of the West often are depicted as being overwhelmed and held captive by capitalistic greed. The full page drawings by Boris Yefimov (1899 or 1900 2008), a Jewish Ukrainian political cartoonist and chief illustrator of the newspapers "Izvestia," are basic offset reproductions of his drawings with meticulous red and black "overprinting." Text in Hungarian. Light wear along edges of binding and slight sunning and rubbing. Two leaves with drawings loose but present. Block generally with light age-toning along edges not affecting images. Binding in overall good+, interior in very good condition.
