A short piece on the work of Godfrey Thomson and his discussion of mathematical logic of psychophysics, questioning some of the findings. Edwin Boring was an American experimental psychologist, involved with intelligence testing during World War I, as well as optical illusion research. This resulted in the 'Boring Figure' as well as research in the appearance of the moon (see Wikipedia). GOOD condition. Minor soiling, uneven browning and fading, especially along the extremities.
