The work was mostly compiled by architect Edward Preston Willins and completed, following the author's death, by fellow architect and author Thomas Garratt. Externally, smart with slight to moderate bumping and rubbing, resulting in minor loss of cloth to the spine head and tail and more prominently to the front bottom spine tip.
