Based on the 1938 novel by Marco Page, about the Sloanes, a pair of married book dealers who help solve a murder. The first of three films to follow the adventures of the Sloanes, followed by "Fast and Loose" and "Fast and Furious" (both released in 1939), although different actors played the couple in each of the three films. Set in New York City. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus.
