A detailed guide to the River Seine, based upon knowledge gained from yachting trips along the river from the sea to Paris, concerned mainly with the experiences of a voyage undertaken during the summer of 1912. Written by Sir Thomas Edward Thorpe, a British chemist who wrote a number of books on various subjects. Illustrated by Olive Branson, an English artist and illustrator. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light wear to the extremities and fading to the spine. The odd small mark to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light spotting to the endpaper and fore-edge. Very Good. book.
