Edizione originale, in prima tiratura, stampata anonima e con falso luogo di stampa, indicato come Italia (ma Torino, Matteo Guaita), di questo poema anticlericale in ottava rima, in 3 canti, in dialetto piemontese, scritto daÂEdoardo Ignazio Calvo. L'A.Âusa la satira per colpire le superstizioni e le fandonie che i 'preive' (i preti) di tutte le confessioni inventavano per soggiogare il popolo. Non a caso fu pubblicato nel periodo rivoluzionario mentre per la successiva opera,Â'Favole morali', edita tra il 1802 e il 1803, l'A. arrivo' a rischiare l'arresto. ITA.…
