The papered slipcase is foxed, with chips at its corners and a 2" tear. ; Number 357 of an edition of 750 copies. 39 pages + frontispiece + 3 plates. The frontispiece and 3 plates have not been tipped in on this copy, they are loose at the front of the book. There are blank leaves at the positions where the plates are called for. Pink cloth boards with gilt decoration and intials on front board. Slipcase. Page dimensions: 198 x 154mm. Top page edges gilt. The plates are two portraits by Max Beerbohm, one by William Rothenstein, and a facsimile holograph letter. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
