Zustand: Very Good. Katharine Pyle (illustrator). First Edition. Complete with 12 colored plates. Red cloth with gilt lettering to the front cover. Previous owner's Christmas inscription dated 1926 to blank fly with a holiday pastedown. Some wear to head and tail (see image) wih some fading to both spine and the upper rear cover. Some minor staining affecting the first and last few pages, including to the edges of the frontispiece, otherwise the plates remain nice and clean with no defacements. 7.25 x 9.5 in (18 x 24 cm).
