This is the biography/autobiography/memoirs of Rev. John Weitbrecht, missionary to Burdwan, compiled by his widow. It also contains a comprehensive history of the mission to Burdwan. "The simple record of what he did and felt, contained in his journals and letters, best presents his character to the reader." Cover has gilt titles to spine; blindstamped decoration to boards.
