Two vintage studio still photographs from the 1952 British film. One with a printed mimeo snipe on the verso. Based on Edgar Wallace's 1929 play, which was in turn based on his 1925 novel. A sly lawyer begins to receive threatening notes from a mysterious criminal nicknamed "The Ringer" by Scotland Yard. Guy Hamilton's directorial debut, and the fourth film adaptation of Wallace's play. Approximately 10 x 8 inches. Near Fine.

Vintage reference photograph from the 1938 film, showing Anna May Wong in a floral silk cheongsam, leaning over a waterfall with a paper fan. Date stamp on the verso. Based on the 1930 play "On the Spot" by Edgar Wallace, loosely based on the life and career of Al Capone, with Wong reprising her role from the play. 8 x 10 inches. Three pinholes to the margins, repaired with paper tape on the verso, else about Near Fine.
