brosch. Zustand: Sehr gut. 74 Seiten, zahlr. Abb. Gutes Exemplar mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren. / Good copy with small signs of wear. - Language: Spanish and english. / It is pleasing to note how during the last four years, since its opening, the Amarica Exhibition Hall has held important exhibitions, that in our opinion, have tried to raise the standard of quality of the customary artistic exhibitions in Vitoria-Gasteiz in Alava. As it is our wish to continue improving, we mean to keep the ball rolling by presenting an exhibition by JIRI DOKOUPIL. A well-known artist in the world of Plastic Art, Dokoupil will be exhibiting "selection of works which give faith to his enormais artistic capacity, his well deserverd fame and his inexhaustible plastic possibilities. A Czechoslovakian by birth, but cosmopolitan by vocation, Dokoupil belongs to that grouo of artists who regenerated the world of contemporary art in the 80's, when it seemed that all attempts made to revive it since the crisis of the 70's had been futile. With his surprising proposals and sympathy with the social sensibility to the more serious and basic topics which concern the world, he was able to offer a peculiar critical vision from the point of the most absolute contemporaneousness. Therefore, it is with pleasure that we present Jiri Georg Dokoupil in Vitoria-Gasteiz in an exhibition in which The Museum of Fine Arts, the Amarica Exhibition Hall, the Department of Culture and with the special collaboration of "El Correo Español-El Pueblo Vasco newspaper has placed their deepest hopes.
