The autobiography of Rev Josiah Henson, which Harriet Beecher Stowe used as the influence for 'Uncle Tom's Cabin'. Black and white frontispiece portrait. This is a modern rebind with new boards. Pages remain clear with minimal marking. Minor pen date to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces.
