These works were taken from the extensive library of Professor F. J. Cole, who served as Professor of Zoology at the University of Reading for over thirty years. This collection includes medical input from influential figures such as Hippocrates, Aristotle, William Harvey and Oliver Goldsmith, among many others. Edited by Nellie B. Eales, who was a senior lecturer in Zoology at the University of Reading. In the publisher's red cloth binding. Externally, excellent, with light shelf wear and a little fading to the spine and extremities. Previous owner's pencil inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound.
