This copy includes a personal letter from Sir Peter Eade to Dr S. Monckton Copeman, dated October 31, 1900, and adhered to the verso of the front free-endpaper. Also including the author's signature to the half title page.A scarce to find work, especially with such a fascinating association. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light bumping to the extremities and head and tail of the spine. Slight fading to the spine. Including a letter from the author adhered to the verso of the front free-endpaper, and the author's ink signature to the half title page. Internally, front hinge is lightly strained.
